The IELTS Partners fund a wide range of research into English language assessment in order to optimise our tests.

For more than 30 years, IELTS has set the standard for English language learning and assessment. We are committed to advancing the field by supporting research that helps to ensure our tests are effective and relevant, and use best practice.

Research proposals

Qualified individuals and institutions are invited to apply for funding to conduct research to support the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
